Nissana Nov, MSW, Principal

Behind WeBloom Design is Nissana Nov, a social worker, social scientist, and creative practitioner who loves to unravel stories, uplift voices, and cultivate opportunities.

With over two decades of nonprofit experience— and having been supported by nonprofits as a first generation Cambodian American—Nissana has been a bridge between families, governments, institutions, and community-based organizations, making sure that planning, design, and decision-making processes are attuned to collective care. As an intermediary, she supports program management, capacity strengthening, co-creation, and visioning, always designing with equity, belonging, and community values in mind.

Nissana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies and French from Whitworth University and a Master’s degree in Social Work / Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University.

When she’s not working, you can find her enjoying true crime and thrillers, playing with art supplies and stationery, gathering with family and friends over a home-cooked meal, traveling, or spending time on the terrace with her dog (Josey) and husband.
